If you're cleaning up your Contacts list and want to delete contacts that have an organization, you must first delete the organization. Doing this will delete the organization from every contact and can only be reversed manually, so double-check that you really want to delete the organization.
Delete a contact's organization
1. When looking at your Contacts list, find the contact that you want to delete.
2. In the Organization column, select the organization's name.
3. Once you're on the organization's page, select Actions → Delete organization.
