All about adding your HoneyBook contact form to your WordPress site

Updated over a week ago

Once you've customized your contact form, you can embed it on your business website. We'll cover how to do so on a WordPress website below.

📣 Note

  • The contact form can be installed on WordPress.org websites, but cannot be installed on WordPress.com websites, as the latter does not support javascript

  • If you've installed a web builder plugin such as a VisualComposer, you will not be able to embed the form

    • Each plugin has its own quirks and may require extra steps to complete the install

      • For example: If your site has the Aveda plugin, you'll want to reference this Wordpress Help Article on how to turn off Code Block Encoding

  • If you're not able to embed you can redirect your contact page to your HoneyBook-hosted direct link instead

  1. Open your HoneyBook contact form

  2. Click Publish > Copy Code

  3. Click on Pages in the side navigation of the Wordpress admin page

  4. Click the page on which you want your contact form to appear

  5. You'll see a text box area, along with two tabs above it labeled Visual and Text

    1. Click Text

  6. In the text box area, click the Code button to apply code tags to the text box, then click Enter to start on a new line

  7. Paste the code that you copied for your HoneyBook contact form into the text box > click Enter to start on a new line

  8. Click the Code button again to close off the code tags

  9. Click Preview to make sure everything is appearing properly on the page

  10. Click Publish to save your changes and to apply them to the live site
