Answers to commonly asked questions around creating legacy templates in HoneyBook.

Updated over a week ago

What's the difference between a legacy template and a legacy file?

Legacy templates are the starting point from which you can more quickly make legacy files. Legacy templates aren't required to make legacy files, but if you find yourself making the same files with almost the same contents for each project, making a template that gets the first 80% of the work done for you will save you a bit of time every time you want to share a file.

Do I have to create a legacy template?

You don't have to create a legacy template, but it will save you time and effort if you're using files that are nearly the same in your projects. Instead of having to create a new one each time, you can create a legacy template to tackle most of the file's setup.
