How to get a new HoneyBook debit card

Cancel your card and get a new one for any reason

You can get a fresh virtual or physical debit card issued if a time ever comes where you need a new one.

You'll always want to make sure the existing card is canceled before you get a new one issued. This article will walk you through that as well as exactly how to get a new card.


Cancel the old debit card

Cancel the debit card to stop any more charges from happening.

Find old card

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. In the "Transactions" table, select the fraudulent charge

  3. Write down the number of the "Card used"

    1. This number will match either your virtual or physical debit card

Cancel compromised card

The process is slightly different, depending on whether your virtual or physical card needs to be canceled.

Cancel virtual card

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under "Account & card details," select MANAGE YOUR CARDS

  3. When prompted, enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile phone, then select CONTINUE

    1. If you're getting an error message that your two-factor authentication (2FA) phone number is invalid or you aren't receiving a code, contact support by clicking the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page

  4. Under "Virtual card," select Cancel card

  5. Read the message, then select Cancel card

  6. Select Go to Dashboard

  7. Log out, then log back in to your account to get a new virtual card issued

Cancel physical card

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under "Account & card details," select MANAGE YOUR CARDS

  3. When prompted, enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile phone, then select CONTINUE

    1. If you're getting an error message that your two-factor authentication (2FA) phone number is invalid or you aren't receiving a code, contact support by clicking the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page

  4. Under "Physical card," select Cancel card

  5. Read the message, then select Cancel card

  6. Select Go to Dashboard

Order new physical debit card

You can order a new physical card right away, which will be sent to your HoneyBook account's personal address. Unlike getting a new virtual debit card issued, this won't happen automatically.

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under "Account & card details," select Order a physical card

  3. When prompted, enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile phone, then select CONTINUE

    1. If you're getting an error message that your two-factor authentication (2FA) phone number is invalid or you aren't receiving a code, contact support by clicking the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page

  4. Select Order Card

  5. Select Got it

    1. The card will take 10–14 business days to arrive. If it doesn't arrive in that time frame, you can contact support by clicking the Question Mark icon.

  6. When your card arrives, activate it from your dashboard
