Get your HoneyBook Balance Visa® debit card

Learn how to add your virtual debit card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, as well as how to order a new physical debit card

Using the HoneyBook Balance Visa® debit card makes managing business expenses easier and more secure. You’ll gain real-time insights into spending, and with your virtual card available instantly, you can start making purchases right away—even from your digital wallet.

You'll receive 2 cards:

  1. A virtual debit card (available immediately)

  2. A physical debit card (must be ordered separately)

Each card has unique details for added fraud protection. Your virtual card is activated upon completing onboarding, while your physical card remains inactive until you receive and activate it—helping keep your funds secure during delivery.


Order and activate your physical debit card

One of the first things you should do once you open a HoneyBook Balance checking account is order a physical debit card. Your physical debit card will be sent to the address you supplied on your application.

If you're getting an error message that your two-factor authentication (2FA) phone number is invalid or you aren't receiving a code, contact support by clicking the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page.

Order a physical debit card

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under "Account & card details," select Order a physical card

  3. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile phone, then select Continue

  4. Select Order Card

  5. Confirm the card's shipping address. If this address isn't correct, contact support

    1. The card will take 10–14 business days to arrive

    2. If the card hasn't arrived after 14 business days, contact support by clicking the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page

  6. Once the card arrives, activate it from your dashboard

Activate your physical debit card

If you want to activate your card by phone, call VISA at +1 (833) 333-0417

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under "Account & card details," select Activate physical card

  3. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile phone, then select Continue

  4. Enter your card's expiration date and security code (also known as CVV), then select Create Pin Code

  5. Enter what you want your card's 4-digit pin code to be, then select Activate Card

  6. Once you've activated your card and set a pin code, your card will be activated


Add your virtual debit card to your Apple Wallet

The steps below will walk you through gathering your virtual debit card details using your computer, then adding your card to your Apple Wallet on your iPhone.

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under "Account & card details," select Manage your cards

  3. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile phone, then select Continue

    1. If you're getting an error message that your 2FA mobile phone number is invalid or you aren't receiving a code, contact support by clicking the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page

  4. Your virtual card details will appear

  5. Gather these details

    1. Your card number

    2. Your expiration date

    3. Your security code (also known as CVV)

  6. Once you've gathered this information, add your virtual debit card to your Apple Wallet

    1. When prompted, opt to add the card details manually

  7. To set your virtual debit card's pin code, call VISA at: +1 (833) 333-0417


Add your virtual debit card to your Google Wallet

The steps below will walk you through gathering your virtual debit card details using your computer, then adding your card to your Google Wallet using your Android device.

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under "Account & card details," select Manage your cards

  3. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your mobile phone, then select Continue

    1. If you're getting an error message that your 2FA mobile phone number is invalid or you aren't receiving a code, contact support by clicking the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page

  4. Your virtual card details will appear. Gather these details:

    1. Your card number

    2. Your expiration date

    3. Your security code (also known as CVV)

  5. Once you've gathered this information, add your virtual debit card to your Google Wallet

    1. When prompted, opt to add the card details manually

  6. To set your virtual debit card's pin code, call VISA at +1 (833) 333-0417


Card PIN and ATM support

To reset your PIN for either your virtual or physical HoneyBook Balance Visa® debit card, call Visa® at +1 (833) 333-0417. If you enter the wrong PIN 3 times during the reset process, you’ll be temporarily locked from making another attempt for 24 hours.

If you attempt an ATM withdrawal and don’t receive your cash, first check your “Transactions” table in HoneyBook. If the withdrawal appears, call Visa® at +1 (833) 333-1098 to dispute the charge.
