Use Google Meet through your calendar

Launch a meeting hosted on Google Meet right from your HoneyBook calendar.

Updated over 2 months ago

When you schedule meetings through your HoneyBook calendar, you can also launch the meeting from the calendar.

By syncing your Google Calendar with your HoneyBook Calendar, you can create session types that automatically generate a Google Meet link when scheduled. When it's time for the meeting, you can join directly through HoneyBook, with no need to switch between tabs.

📣 Note

This article references session types. Members on the Starter plan can create up to 1 session type, while Essentials and Premium plan members can create unlimited sessions. Learn more about the features included in each plan.

Create a Google Meet meeting in HoneyBook

  1. Sync your Google calendar to your HoneyBook calendar

  2. In the Session Type field, select Video

  3. In the Video Type field, select Google

    1. Don't enter anything into the field (this will generate when a meeting is scheduled using this session type)

  4. Finish creating your session type

Now, when you schedule that session type with leads or clients (or if you share the session direct link, or share a smart file with that session's scheduler, to have leads or clients schedule with you), a Google Meet link will generate automatically in the meeting that's created.

When you're ready to start the meeting, select the event in your HoneyBook calendar > select Join video call.
