You're busy and, we assume, constantly on the go (because... well, who isn't!), so it's important that your HoneyBook app is able to alert you to new activity in your account. Push notifications in the HoneyBook app allow you to be alerted immediately when you receive a new Inquiry, a payment, a client signature, an email from a client, and more!

When you download the app for the first time, you should see a prompt asking you to enable push notifications. If you enabled notifications at that point, you should be good to go. Otherwise you can use this article to help get them set up on your device.

iOS: Enabling push notifications

1.  From your home page (Pipeline view), tap the Settings tab in your bottom navigation bar.

2.  In the Push Notifications field, toggle your notifications on or off.

3.  If prompted to confirm the change, tap Allow.



Android: Enabling push notifications

1.  From your home page (Pipeline view), tap the Settings tab in your bottom navigation bar.

2.  Tap the Gear icon in the top right corner.

3.  In the Push Notifications field, toggle your notifications on or off.

4.  If prompted to confirm the change, tap Allow.



What notifications will the HoneyBook App send?

By enabling notifications on the mobile app you're opting in to HoneyBook sending a push notification whenever one of the following happens:

  • You receive a new inquiry
  • You receive a payment
  • You receive a payment that qualifies for instant deposit
  • You receive a new message in a workspace
  • Your client views a proposal/invoice
  • Your client submits a Brochure
  • Your client submits a questionnaire
  • Your client schedules a meeting
  • Your client makes a change to a scheduled meeting
  • Your client signed a contract
  • A task you created is due
  • New hyper relevant opportunity
  • New comment on an opportunity you posted
  • Networking connection request or approval
