If you have a list of leads and clients saved outside of HoneyBook, you can bring them into your project pipeline to keep your relationship management all in one place.
There are two key steps to importing leads and clients. Click the anchor link below to be brought to the steps for that workflow.
Prepare your file for upload
Download the list of leads/clients that you'd like to import to HoneyBook
Make sure the file meets the file requirements

Your file must meet these requirements to be accepted:
The file must be in .CSV, .XLS, or .XLSX format
You can save any Google Sheet or Excel file as a .CSV file by selecting File > Download/Save As > Comma Separated Values (.csv)
At minimum, an email must be included for each client/lead
Up to 500 items can be uploaded in the same file
Import your leads and clients
From the top navigation bar, select Projects
Select the down arrow next to Create New > Import Data
Drag and drop or choose your file for upload
If needed, uncheck any projects/contacts that you do not wish to import
Click Manage Fields to update what column headers from your file are matched to what HoneyBook fields
Email is required
If you'd like to not import a specific column's values, locate the corresponding HoneyBook field > select Do not import
Click Preview when you're done
When you're ready, click Import
Your leads and clients will be added to HoneyBook. They'll be added to your Contacts list and a project will be added for each individual. From here, get started (or continue) communicating with them right from the HoneyBook project.
