All about the project prep tool and how to use it to prepare for your project dates

Updated this week

If you’ve ever booked a project months ago and can't remember the details spread across files, notes, and emails; let AI prepare you with a recap sent 5 days before the project date. These AI-generated recaps include action items, discussed services, payment details, open questions, tasks, and more; so you can go into projects ready to put your best foot forward.

We'll cover how to access and use AI project prep notes below.

Adjust project prep settings

By default, project prep is turned ON for your account. If you need to disable or re-enable this setting, here's how:

  1. From any page, click your profile photo to the top right of your screen > Company Settings

  2. Select AI Preferences

  3. Toggle Project prep ON or OFF

Access project prep notes

5 days before each project date, you'll receive a notification that a project prep note is ready. Project prep notes are delivered via email and accessible via project notes. There are a few different ways to access project prep notes.

Email

When a project prep note is ready, the note will be delivered directly to the project owner's email inbox.

Notification center

As soon as a project prep note is ready, you’ll receive a notification (under the bell icon in the top right corner of your screen). Click on the notification to be brought straight to the note.

Project

  1. Search for and open the associated project

  2. Under the Activity tab, select View project prep

Mobile push notification

Once an AI project prep note is ready, you’ll receive a mobile push notification. Click on the notification to be brought straight to the note in your HoneyBook mobile app.
