Smart file settings FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions around expiring smart files and font weights in HoneyBook.

When should I expire a smart file?

Here's when you could consider expiring a smart file:

  • When you no longer want your client to get charged automatically from the smart file

  • When you want to use a new service contract, but want to keep the old one available for your client's review

  • When you don't want your client to receive payment reminders from an old invoice

This list isn't exhaustive, and you can expire any uncompleted file at any time.

Why isn't the right font weight appearing in my custom font?

If the font weight you want to use isn't available when using it in HoneyBook, the file you uploaded might not have it. Double check that your file holds the right font weight, then delete the old file you uploaded and upload the updated file.
