Reactivate an expired smart file

Unexpire a smart file that you previously expired so your client can fill it out.

Updated over 2 months ago

When you reactivate a smart file, your clients will regain full access and be able to complete any pending actions. It will also resume automatic payments and payment reminders. You have two options when reactivating: either edit the smart file before reactivating and re-sharing, or simply reactivate with no changes.

If your smart file has payments set to autopay, we encourage you to review the payment schedule before reactivating. Reactivating will immediately process any past-due autopay payments on invoices. If you don't want these payments to be processed, remember to adjust the payment schedule before reactivating.
