How to adjust the cadence of inquiry reminders, what they look like, and how to use them to get back to leads

To ensure no leads fall through the cracks, use inquiry reminders for unanswered leads. We'll cover how to set up these reminders, adjust the frequency, and use them to increase conversions, below.


Adjust inquiry reminders

This preference is turned ON by default. Read below if you'd like to adjust the cadence of these reminders or turn them OFF.

  1. From any page, click your profile photo to the top right of your screen > Company Settings

  2. Select Preferences

  3. Locate the Company Notifications section

  4. Toggle Remind me when I haven't answered a new lead ON or OFF

    1. If toggled ON, click the pencil icon > use the drop-down to select the number of days after which you'd like to receive this reminder

Your changes will save as you go and will apply to unanswered inquiries moving forward.


How you'll receive inquiry reminders

Depending on how you've set this preference, you'll receive an inquiry reminder X number of days after a new lead has gone unanswered.

This reminder will appear:

  • As a mobile push notification (if you've enabled mobile push notifications)

  • In your Notifications tab on the mobile app

  • In your notification center on desktop, under the bell icon

  • As an email reminder, sent to the email on file for your HoneyBook account

Click on the notification or email to be brought to the project, where the AI composer will have drafted up an auto-reply for the lead. From there, you can make any edits to the email response and send, to ensure no lead goes unanswered.
