How to manually adjust the status of a completed smart file

Updated this week

For extra control over your files, you can manually mark smart files as completed. Manually marking the smart file complete will appear once your client has completed all action on that file.

Manually mark a file as complete

  1. Use the search bar or select Projects from the top navigation menu to find the project that holds the smart file you want to mark as complete

  2. Once you're in the project workspace, locate the smart file you want to mark as complete

  3. You can mark a file as complete two ways:

    1. From the project's activity feed, select the triple-dot icon on the smart file > select Mark as completed

    2. Open the smart file's File Summary by selecting it > select the triple-dot icon > select Mark as completed
