You can use tags to filter through and group projects and contacts.
Manage tags
From the navigation menu, select your company logo > Company settings
Select Preferences
By "Tags," select the pencil icon
Edit your tags. From here:
Create new tag: Select the Create tag (plus) icon, enter the tag name, and select a color > Save
Edit existing tag: Hover over the tag in question and select the pencil icon. Then, enter a new name and select a new color > Save
Delete existing tag: Hover over the tag in question and select the pencil icon > Delete
Select Done
📚 Tip
Consider creating tags for:
Project statuses, for example, "Urgent" or "On hold"
Project locations, for example, "Virtual" or "Live"
Contact types, for example, "Frugal" or "Big spender"

📣 Note
There's a limit of 50 tags that can be added to a project.
Add a tag to a project
Find and open the project you'll add a tag to by using the search bar or selecting it from Projects
In the Tags dropdown on the right-hand side, select the tags you want to add
Remove a tag from a project
Find and open the project you'll add a tag to by using the search bar or selecting it from Projects
Under the Tags dropdown on the right-hand side, select the Remove (X) icon by the tags you want to remove
Bulk add or remove tags from projects
From the navigation menu, select Projects > select the checkbox next to the name of the projects you want to edit
Select the Tags icon, then select either:
Choose which tags to add... if adding tags
Choose which tags to remove... if removing tags
Select what tags you want to add or remove from the projects
Select Add to [number of] project(s) if adding tags, or Remove from [number of] project(s) if removing tags
Filter projects by tags
This is a great tool to use if you need to take a bulk action, for example, sending a bulk email, with all projects that have a specific tag. You can filter by tag first, then take that action.
From the navigation menu, select Projects
Select a pipeline stage
Select + Add filter > Tag
Select what tags you'll filter by. As you select tags, your projects will get filtered.
Remove a filter by selecting the dropdown (∨) icon next to it > three-dot icon > Delete filter
Tag management for contacts
Add tags to contact
From the navigation menu, select Contacts
Find and select the contact(s) you'll add a tag to
Either:
In the pop-up that appears at the bottom, select Add tags. In the "Add tags..." dropdown, select the tags > Add to [number of] contact(s)
Scroll to the right until you see the “Tags” column, then hover and select Add tags or the existing tags. In the "Add tags..." dropdown, select the tags you'll add to the contact.

Remove tags from contact
From the navigation menu, select Contacts
Find and select the contact(s) you'll remove a tag from
Either:
In the pop-up that appears at the bottom, select Remove tags. In the "Add tags..." dropdown, select the tags > Add to [number of] contact(s)
Scroll to the right until you see the “Tags” column, then hover and select Add tags or the existing tags. In the "Add tags..." dropdown, select the tags you'll add to the contact.

Next to the tags you want to remove, select the X icon
Bulk add or remove tags from contacts
From the navigation menu, select Contacts
Hover over each contact you'll bulk edit, then select the checkbox next to their name
You can use filters to refine your contacts list
Select the Tag icon > select either:
Choose which tags to add... if adding tags
Choose which tags to remove... if removing tags
Select what tags you'll add to or remove from the contacts
Filter contacts by tags
This is a great tool to use if you need to view all contacts that have a specific tag applied:
From the navigation menu, select Contacts
Select + Add filter
Select Tags
As you select tags, your contacts table will get filtered
