Quickly elevate your smart files

Six best practices (less than five minutes each) to enhance your clients' experience with files.

Updated this week

Adopting any of these easy enhancements will have your files feeling more like you, and give your clients that true “wow” experience. Try them out on your converted legacy files, or on any template from the Template Gallery.

Set a company theme

Customize your smart file by setting your theme. This will apply your colors, fonts, and branding with just one click. Whether you're working with a converted legacy file or a smart file from the Template Gallery, setting your theme in company settings beforehand will allow you to quickly change every element of the smart file to match your branding.

Use background images on your file's pages

Background images can enhance your file designs and give them a professional look. They can be added to one or multiple pages, and you have the option to adjust the opacity to avoid any interference with other content on the page.

Add a "thank you" page at the end of the file

Consider adding a "thank you" page at the end of a file, especially when requesting payment. It's a small but thoughtful gesture to express gratitude when clients are about to make a payment. This page can also provide information about the next steps in your process.

Use a custom font for your smart file

Consistent branding across all platforms (such as Instagram, website, emails, onboarding materials, and invoices) enhances professionalism, so consider using a custom font that matches your branding across your other channels.

Customize the smart file's button text

Utilize customizable buttons to keep clients engaged and informed. Every page can clearly show clients what to expect next and what happens if they navigate away. Customize buttons on each page to align with your brand voice and ensure clients feel confident when interacting with your smart files.
