Delegate your projects out to your team members so they can tackle their tasks

Updated this week

Once you've added your team to your company, those team members can create and manage their own projects, including assigning projects or incoming inquiries to them. They'll be able to access the project through their own pipeline and have full control over it. Manually assigning a project to a team member is only possible on desktop at the moment (not mobile app), and we'll cover the two ways to do so below.

Team members are available for HoneyBook Essentials and Premium plan members.

πŸ“š Tip

This article covers manually assigning projects to team members. You can also automatically assign new inquiries that come in via contact or lead form to your team members.

Assign project from pipeline

  1. From the navigation menu, select Projects

  2. Find the project you want to assign to a team member

  3. Select the Options icon > Assign to team member

  4. Select what team member will get assigned this project > DONE

From here, the project will appear on that team member's pipeline. Your team member will receive an email notification of the assignment, along with a link to the project for easy access.

πŸ“£ Note

Reassigning a project to another team member will remove the original project assignee from the project. If the original project assignee should still be involved in the project, they'll need to be added as a participant.

Assign project from project workspace

  1. Use the search bar to find the project you want to reassign

    1. You can also select Projects from the navigation menu and select what project you want to reassign

  2. Select the three-dot icon > Assign to team member
