When you're creating a project, you also create a project workspace. If you need to establish distinct lines of communications with participants or store files that not everyone should have access to, you can created related workspaces for that project.

Create a related workspace

Once your related workspace is live, you can add more participants, send files, or use the activity feed to send emails just to these workspace participants.

  1. Find and open the project that you want to create a related workspace for by using the search bar or accessing the project workspace's Activity or Files tabs

  2. At the top of the right menu, select the triple-dot icon > select Add Workspace

  3. Select which type of project workspace you want to add

    1. Select Client Workspace to create a workspace that's trackable on your pipeline by default

    2. All other workspace types won't appear on your pipeline by default (but you can change this using the Stage drop-down menu)

  4. Add a participant to the workspace

Toggle between related workspaces

At the bottom of the right menu, select which related workspace you want to be in.

Rename a related workspace

  1. Hover your cursor over the workspace's name

  2. Select the name

  3. Add the updated name to the workspace
