Adding a new Project or Inquiry via mobile app

How to add a new Project via the HoneyBook iOS or Android app

Updated over a week ago

If you're out and need to add a new Project on the fly (whether an Inquiry, or a more established Project), we've got you covered! You can quickly add Projects and Project participants right through your HoneyBook mobile app — remember, you can think of a Project as a job, and the participant as the main client you’re working with.

iOS & Android: Adding a Project or Inquiry

1.  Open your HoneyBook iOS or Android app.

2.  From your home page (Pipeline view), tap the Plus (+) icon.

3.  Tap Project.

4. Enter the Project details: Project name, Project type, lead source, dates, etc. Tap Next when you're ready.

5. Add the primary Project participant. You can search for an existing contact in your contact list, or tap Create a New Contact to enter new information.

a. You can always add, remove, or edit participants from within the Project in the future as well, if you need!

This will create a new Project for you, and automatically set it to the Inquiry Pipeline stage. The Pipeline Stage reflects where a particular job is standing in the booking process; you can adjust the Pipeline stage from within the Project by tapping the 3-dot icon in the top right corner, then selecting Change Pipeline Stage.

Now, from within the Project, you can tap Send File or Message to shoot an email or supported file type to your client via the mobile app. You can learn more about communicating through HoneyBook here.
