How to use the app to create or edit projects.

You can think of a project as a job and the participant as the main client, so you can quickly add both with the app.

Before you begin

Consider reviewing your customize your project types, lead sources, and other project details fields to make sure they fit your brand.


Add a new project

Projects created on mobile will get added to your pipeline's Inquiry stage in case you return to HoneyBook on your computer.

  1. From the bottom navigation menu, select Create > select Project

  2. Enter the project's details > select Next: add client to project

    1. If you don't know all of the details now, you can add them later

  3. Add your client to the project by either selecting an existing client or creating a new one

  4. You'll get taken to the project workspace for the project you just created

    1. You'll be able to send emails, create files, take notes, add more project details, and more while still using the app


Edit a project

If anything changes while you're away from your computer (like another client needs to be added to the project), you can also take care of that from the mobile app.

  1. From the bottom navigation menu, select Projects

  2. Find and select the project you'll edit project details for

    1. The project pipeline at the top of your screen can help filter the project list

  3. When you're in the project workspace, select the triple-dot icon next to the project's name

  4. Select Edit details

  5. Make your changes to the project details

  6. Select Save
