Keeping your pipeline clean helps you see why leads aren’t converting and where they drop off in the sales process. It also frees up your time to focus on the opportunities that matter most. HoneyBook makes this easier by suggesting leads to archive after 30 days of inactivity.
📚 Note
Automated monthly cleanups and associated cleanup tools are only available to members in our Premium tier.
Clean up your pipeline
As long as you have lead detection turned on, HoneyBook will prompt you to clean up your pipeline once a month. But you don’t have to wait for automated cleanup—take action whenever you like.
From the navigation menu, click Projects.
Above your pipeline, click Clean up.
A popup will show you if you have any inactive leads that you can select for archiving, along with:
Project name and contact name.
Tip: Hover over the i icon next to any project name to read a summary of past communications.
The date of the last interaction
A pre-filled archive reason, which you can edit. The archive reason is based on previous emails, files, and notes in the project.
An Email button if you’d like to re-engage the lead before archiving
If you decide to archive any projects, click Archive.
✅ Note
You can always unarchive a project. Client emails from archived projects will still go to your inbox.
Pipeline cleanup statistics
After archiving, you’ll get an overview of your lead conversions in both bar chart and donut chart formats. These charts show:
Archived leads by pipeline stage
Reasons leads were archived
Turn lead detection on or off
Turning off lead detection turns off the automated reminder to clean up your pipeline. You can always clean up your pipeline on demand by clicking the Clean up button above your pipeline.
From the navigation menu, click your company logo > Company settings
Under Lead management, toggle Detect inactive leads ON or OFF.
