Navigate, sort by, and filter projects in your pipeline

How to customize what projects show in your pipeline

Updated yesterday

Once you've set up your pipeline to match your business process, you can further adjust how and what projects are shown to you. Any filters, shown/hidden columns, and "sort by" options will save whenever you access that pipeline view moving forward.

Find your pipeline

The pipeline is visible in the Projects tab of your HoneyBook account. From there, you can:

  • Click on All to view everything that's currently in the works

    • All projects except those that are archived will appear here

  • Click on an individual stage to see all projects in that stage

  • Click on Archived to view projects you've archived

Create and locate custom pipeline views

When you get started with HoneyBook, you have a main pipeline view. You can also create additional, custom pipeline views. Custom pipeline views:

  • Are visible to you and other members of your team

  • Allow you to show or hide specific pipeline stages from that custom view

  • Allow you to show or hide group stages (Opportunities vs. Projects) from that custom view

  • Allow you to apply filters, show/hide columns, and "sort by" options that will save only for that custom view

View your team members' pipelines

If you have team members that are part of your company in HoneyBook, you'll see some additional details in your pipeline to help with project management.

From the top of your pipeline, click the view drop-down > select the team member's pipeline you'd like to view, or select View all to view all projects under the company.

Use pipeline filters

You can use filters to customize what projects are shown from your pipeline view.

From the top of your pipeline, select Filter > choose to filter by project types, tags, and/or lead sources > choose the relevant project types, tags, and/or lead sources.

Notes:

  • Filtering follows and logic, so if you select Project type: Corporate Branding and Tag: Frugal, only projects that meet both of those pieces of criteria will appear

  • To remove filters, click Filter again and select the X by the filter you'd like to remove, or X Clear All to remove all filters

Show/hide pipeline columns

From your pipeline, click the column icon and check/uncheck the columns that you'd like to appear.

Sort by columns

"Sort by" options are located at the top of your list of projects, across all pipeline stages. You can click the "sort by" options (column headers) to organize and prioritize your projects.

  • Project name: Clicking this option will sort projects alphabetically by name

  • Project date: Sort projects in ascending or descending order by project date

  • Project type: Sort projects alphabetically by project type

  • Moved: Sort projects in ascending or descending order by the date they moved to their current pipeline stage

  • Recent activity: Sort projects in ascending or descending order by recent activity (payments, e-signatures received)

    • Sorting by by ascending recent activity can allow you to see recent projects that may require follow up
