About the program

What is the template partner program?

HoneyBook is partnering with designers to create, host, and sell their templates through our template gallery. Those interested can submit an application with information on why they want to join the program, along with templates that are the best representation of their work.

Please note that there are limited spots available. Stay tuned for updates as we continue building out this new program.

Submitting your application

Where can I apply to join?

Submit your application for the template partner program here.

What requirements should my application meet?

Although you can submit templates that you intend to sell, those templates will not be reviewed for sale at this stage. The templates that you submit should be examples of the best representation of your work and prioritize the user experience.

After the application

How do I know my application went through?

Once you submit your application, you will see the following screen which confirms receipt. Please do not email the team inquiring about the status of your application—rest easy knowing we are working on it and will get back to you.

How will I be notified if I’ve been selected?

You will be notified via email:

  • If you’ve been accepted to the program

  • If you were not accepted, and why

What happens next if I'm selected?

Once you’ve been notified of your selection as an approved partner, you will go through an onboarding process that includes the following.

Initial onboarding: You’ll sign the creator agreement and submit your directory information, which will go on the gallery website.

Template creation/submission to sell: You’ll create and submit the templates that you would like to sell through the gallery.

Template review process: Once templates are submitted, they’ll go through the review process. The review process consists of up to two rounds of feedback based on the design guidelines.

Publication: Once templates have been reviewed, approved, and gone through a final QA check, the template partner program manager will obtain the necessary information to officially publish into the gallery for sale.

If you have any questions about the process once selected, please contact the template partner program manager at: [email protected].

How do I set the price for my template?

The template price is set by you (the seller), within our minimum requirements (for example, a one page template must start at a minimum of $29 and increase based on page count). We’ll provide you with guidance on how to best price.
