When you link a Canadian bank account, HoneyBook through Stripe requires documentation to verify who you are and how your business is registered. Uploading the correct document type, in the correct format, helps prevent delays or rejected verification.
Use the sections below to confirm which documents are accepted and what information they must include.

Documents must be original and unexpired
Scans or copies must be PDFs taken directly from the original document
Photos of physical documents must be original, unedited JPEG or PNG files
Screenshots aren’t accepted
Documents must be in color, readable, and high quality
All pages must be included, with full borders visible
Files must not be cropped, altered, embedded, or converted
If your country of residence differs from the account country, a passport is required for identity verification

Select View and edit by the business owner
Confirm names, roles, and ownership details match the uploaded documents

Reupload documents that exactly match the information in HoneyBook

Confirm director count
Ensure the number of directors listed in HoneyBook matches your official documents
Add or remove directors as needed, by selecting View and edit
