HoneyBook does not currently have a way to pass the payment processing fee onto your client. If you want to do this, consult with your legal counsel, as passing processing fees onto clients may actually be illegal in your state.
If your state does allow this, you’d need to manually add the processing fee as a line item on your invoice. Keep in mind that HoneyBook’s payment processing fees are different depending on whether your client uses a credit card or a bank transfer to make a payment, so you should ask them how they plan to pay if you want to pass the fee on and it is legal to do so.

These service blocks will instantly update the invoice as clients make their selections and also fill out the contract for them to sign, all within a single file.

When you send a smart file with a service block, your client can choose the services they want to purchase. This will generate a dynamic invoice that includes the selected services. To enable this, the smart file template must include both the services block and an invoice page.

Once the refund you've sent is processed, archive the project associated with the outstanding invoice. However, ensure that the client has received the refund before archiving, as archiving too early may hinder the refund process. To archive, expire the invoice smart file, which will prevent any further actions or payments on the invoice.

An invoice page should always accompany a payment page. It is not possible to create a file with only an invoice page or only a payment page.
