Order, activate, or cancel your HoneyBook Balance Visa® debit cards

Learn how to order, activate, or cancel your virtual or physical HoneyBook Balance Visa® debit card, plus manage PIN and security

Your HoneyBook Balance Visa® debit cards make it easy to spend directly from your HoneyBook Balance Checking Account. You’ll receive 2 cards—one virtual (available instantly) and one physical (mailed to you). Each has a unique card number for extra security and fraud protection.

This article covers how to order, activate, or cancel your virtual or physical card on the web or mobile app, plus what to do if you need to reset your PIN, report a fraudulent charge, or close your Balance account.

Before you start


Order and activate your physical debit card

Order on the web

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under “Account & card details,” select Manage your cards

  3. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your phone, then select Continue

  4. Select Order card > Got it

    1. Your card arrives in 10–14 business days at your account address

    2. If it doesn’t arrive, contact our Support team by selecting the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page > Message us > Send us a message, then to connect with a person, enter “Talk to a person”

Activate on the web

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under “Account & card details,” select Activate physical card

  3. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your phone, then select Continue

  4. Input your card’s expiration date and CVV, then select Next: Create PIN code

  5. Enter and confirm your 4-digit PIN, then select Activate card

Order and activate in the mobile app

  1. From the navigation menu, select Tools > Balance

  2. Select Order now > Order card > Got it

  3. Once you receive your card:

    1. Return to Tools > Balance

    2. Select Activate now

    3. Follow the prompts to enter your expiration date, CVV, and PIN


Cancel your virtual or physical debit card

On the web

  1. From the navigation menu, select Finance > Balance

  2. Under “Account & card details,” select Manage your cards

  3. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your phone, then select Continue

  4. Under “Virtual card” or “Physical card,” select Cancel card

  5. Read the confirmation message, then select Cancel card > Go to dashboard

In the mobile app

  1. From the navigation menu, select Tools > Balance

  2. Select the three-dot icon > Manage cards

  3. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your phone, then select Next

  4. Select the three-dot icon next to your card > Cancel card > Confirm > Got it

If you’ve forgotten your PIN or want to update it for security

  1. Select the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page > Message us > Send us a message

  2. To connect with a person, enter “Talk to a person”

  3. Request a PIN reset for your virtual or physical card

Report a fraudulent charge

If you see a transaction you don’t recognize or suspect unauthorized activity

Close your HoneyBook Balance account

If you no longer want to use HoneyBook Balance

  1. Select the Question Mark icon on any HoneyBook page > Message us > Send us a message

  2. To connect with a person, enter “Talk to a person”

  3. Request to close your Balance account
