Updated today

If you spot an unfamiliar or suspicious charge on your HoneyBook Balance Visa® debit card—or an ATM fails to dispense cash—this guide will walk you through exactly what to do. Start by reviewing the transaction in your HoneyBook account on the web or in the mobile app, then follow the steps to confirm whether it’s fraud, an error, or a failed withdrawal before submitting a dispute.

Check the details of the charge on the web or mobile app

  1. Open the HoneyBook desktop site or mobile app

  2. From the navigation menu:

    1. Desktop: Select Finance > Balance

    2. Mobile: Select Tools > Balance

  3. In the "Transactions" table, select the charge you believe was made without your permission

  4. Before you report a fraudulent charge, here are things to check:

    • The charge wasn't made by an authorized account holder

    • You haven't let anyone else use your card

    • You’ve reviewed the transaction detail, keeping in mind some merchants use a different name or address for billing purposes, and still don't recognize it

    • If you see a charge you recognize as yours, but the detail isn't right—like being charged more than once, a membership you canceled, or a trial membership you don't recall signing up for—it's probably a charge error

Report a fraudulent charge to Visa

  1. Visa will first contact you directly to validate a charge. Follow the instructions in the email

  2. Call the number on the back of your card

  3. Listen to the prompts carefully, then select the option to dispute a transaction

  4. In the event you don’t have your HoneyBook Balance Visa® debit card, press zero

  2. Listen to the prompts carefully, then select the option for English

  3. Listen to the prompts carefully, then select the option to dispute a transaction

  4. Enter your debit card number

    1. In the event you don’t have your debit card number, press zero

    2. For lost or stolen cards, when prompted to enter your debit card number, press the pound key, then zero to speak with an agent
