Manage a HoneyBook Pro’s access to your account

How to manage a Pro's access to your account during and after your work with them.

Updated over 3 months ago

Working with a HoneyBook Pro to get your account set up? The Pro can request access to your account directly through HoneyBook, to ensure you don’t have to share any confidential information.

Not sure what a HoneyBook Pro is? HoneyBook Pros are independent professionals in the business of helping HoneyBook members like you.

Grant a Pro access to your account

When a Pro requests access to your account, you’ll receive an email notification to the address you use to log in to HoneyBook.

To grant access:

  1. Log in to your HoneyBook account

  2. Select your profile icon > My Account

  3. Next to the Pro's name, select Give Access

You’ll see the Granted label next to the Pro’s name when the process is successful. By default, this will grant access to your account for 60 days, but you can always revoke access by following the steps below.

Revoke a Pro’s account access

The Pro’s access to your account will automatically expire 60 days after you’ve granted it (or, if you’ve extended access, once that period is up), but you can also revoke their access at any time.

  1. Log in to your HoneyBook account

  2. Select your profile icon > My Account

  3. Select the three dot icon next to the Pro’s name

  4. Select Revoke access.

You’ll see the Pro’s label change to Revoked in your Account Access list, and the Pro will no longer be able to log in to your account.
