Your security phone number is used when making important changes to your account. You'll need a valid security phone number on file when:
Making changes to your bank account or personal account information
Utilizing our 2-step verification login process
If you ever need to add or edit your security phone number, follow the steps below.
Add a security phone number to your account
In most cases, you’ll add a security number when beginning your HoneyBook account–which means you won't need to go through the steps below. In case you’re missing a security phone number, though, here’s how to add one:
Click your profile photo in the top right corner of your screen > select My Account
Scroll down to find the Security Phone Number section and click Add
Click Get an email with verification code to verify your account
Our system will email you with a 6-digit verification code (sent to the email that you use to log in to HoneyBook)
Enter the code into HoneyBook, then click Submit
Now, you'll be able to enter a phone number
Make sure that the number you enter is:
Set up to receive calls or text messages
US- or Canada-based
Click Save when you’re done
Edit your security phone number on file
Click your profile photo in the top right corner of your screen > select My Account
Scroll down to find the Security Phone Number section and click Edit
Choose to either receive a text or call with a 6-digit verification code
Enter the code provided into HoneyBook > click Submit
If you no longer have access to your security phone number and can't receive the verification code, please contact our Support team by clicking the question mark "?" icon any page and chatting in, "Talk to a person"
Now, you'll be able to enter a new phone number
Make sure that the number you enter is:
Set up to receive calls or text messages
US- or Canada-based
Click Save when you’re done
