Smart files give provide advanced copying and pasting options. With this enhanced builder, you can copy entire blocks of content and actions, such as contracts and invoices.
You can also copy individual elements within content blocks, such as text, images, questions, videos, and dividers. This streamlines your file-building process, allowing you to paste the copied content anywhere you need.
Copy and paste blocks
Keep in mind that blocks are clusters of elements or designated areas for client actions, such as headers, questionnaires, contracts, or invoices.
The copy-paste tool enables you to swiftly duplicate a block and paste it into either the same smart file or a completely new one.
While building your smart file, select the block you want to copy to highlight it
Copy the block by selecting the triple-dot icon at the top-right corner of the block > select Copy block
You can also use the CMD + C (Mac) or CTRL + C (Windows) keyboard shortcut to copy a block
Get to the page you want to paste the block into
Select any block on the page > select the triple-dot icon at the top-right corner of the block > select Paste block
The block you paste will appear below the block you selected (the selected block won't be replaced)

Copy and paste elements of a block
Elements are smaller pieces of blocks that can be easily copied and pasted within the same block, the same smart file, or into a different smart file. This allows you to repeat content without having to redo the work.
Currently, only elements in content blocks can be copied and pasted, including text, images, questions, videos, and dividers. Elements in action blocks, such as services and payment schedules, cannot be copied and pasted.
However, you can use reusable blocks and pages to move entire action blocks to new locations and delete any unnecessary elements.
While building your smart file, select the element (e.g., an image) you want to copy to highlight it
Copy the element by using the CMD + C (Mac) or CTRL + C (Windows) keyboard shortcut
Get to the page you want to paste the element into
Select any block on the page
Paste the element by using the CMD + P (Mac) or CTRL + P (Windows) keyboard shortcut
The element you paste will appear below the block you selected (the selected block won't be replaced)
