Upload, organize, and manage your HoneyBook Library

Learn how to upload images and files to your HoneyBook Library, organize them into folders, and use them across smart files, emails, forms, and projects — on the web or in the mobile app

Your HoneyBook Library is where you store frequently used images, PDFs, and other files so you can easily reuse them across your business. With folder-based organization, you can group and find assets quickly without scrolling through a flat list. For best results, check out our image sizing guidelines.

📣 Note

Client-uploaded images or files submitted through a project or workspace aren’t automatically added to your Library. To add them, upload them manually.

Navigate the Library

The Library has a few key elements:

  • Left panel — A folder navigation panel for organizing assets, aligned with how templates folders work

  • Filter chips — At the top of the Library, filter between All, Images, and Files

Use folders to group assets by project type, client, season, or however works best for your workflow.

  • Create a folder — Select + Create folder in the left panel and give it a name

  • Move assets into a folder — Hover over an asset, then select Vertical ellipsis icon More options (vertical ellipsis icon) > Move to folder > the folder to move it to

  • Navigate folders — Select any folder in the left panel to view its contents

  • File card metadata — File cards (not image cards) show the filenames, folder names (with folder icons), and upload dates
