HoneyBook + Claude: How your data is used

Learn what data the HoneyBook and Claude integration can access, how it's used, and how to connect or disconnect at any time

HoneyBook integrates with Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, so you can manage your business — reviewing your pipeline, prepping for client calls, sending pay links — without opening the HoneyBook mobile app.


What data Claude can access

When you connect HoneyBook to Claude, you authorize Claude to read your HoneyBook data. This includes:

  • Projects and pipeline

  • Invoices and payment plans

  • Contracts

  • Client messages and notes

  • Questionnaire responses

Claude only accesses data relevant to what you ask it to do. It doesn’t access your HoneyBook account passively in the background.


How your data is used

Your HoneyBook data is sent to Anthropic (the company that makes Claude) to generate responses to your requests. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy. HoneyBook doesn’t store or have access to Claude's responses.


Actions Claude can take in HoneyBook

Claude can create projects and edit project details on your behalf. It takes this action in response to your requests in chat, but doesn’t act on your HoneyBook account on its own or in the background. As with any AI assistant, review what Claude is about to do before you approve it.


Connect or disconnect the integration

To connect or disconnect the integration at any time in Claude:

  1. Within the left sidebar, select Customize > Connectors

  2. Find and select HoneyBook > Connect or Disconnect, then follow the prompts

    • If you disconnect, Claude loses access to your HoneyBook data immediately
