When you connect your Gmail account to HoneyBook, our AI assistant can identify and recommend potential opportunities and existing projects that live in your Gmail account. You can choose to import these suggestions right to your project pipeline, allowing you to bring all of your relationships into HoneyBook in near real-time.
Adjust AI Gmail import settings
You can adjust this setting either from your AI preferences or your Integrations.
Turn ON
From your AI preferences
First, ensure you’ve connected your Gmail account to HoneyBook
Click your profile photo to the top right corner of your screen > Company settings
Select the AI preferences tab
Ensure Gmail import is toggled ON
From your Integrations
First, ensure you’ve connected your Gmail account to HoneyBook
Click your profile photo to the top right corner of your screen > Company settings
Select the Integrations tab
Locate the Email integration area and ensure Enable opportunity and project suggestions from Gmail is toggled ON
Turn OFF
From your AI preferences
Click your profile photo to the top right corner of your screen > Company settings
Select the AI preferences tab
Toggle Gmail import OFF
From your Integrations
Click your profile photo to the top right corner of your screen > Company settings
Select the Integrations tab
Locate the Email integration area and ensure Enable opportunity and project suggestions from Gmail is toggled OFF
Review your Gmail import suggestions
Whenever the AI assistant identifies a new suggestion, you’ll receive an email and a notification in your notification center. These suggestions will not be added to your HoneyBook Contacts list or project pipeline until you choose to formally add them.
First, ensure you’ve:
Connected your Gmail account to HoneyBook, and
From the top navigation bar, select Projects to open your project pipeline
Select the New suggestions tile
You’ll be brought to a full list of suggestions to import, with key details like email and last activity listed. From here, you can:
Add a suggestion: Follow the steps here
Delete a suggestion: Click the trash can icon
View more details as an AI summary: Click on the suggestion
Rate the suggestion: Click on the suggestion > click the thumbs up or thumbs down icon
Add a suggestion to HoneyBook
First, ensure you’ve:
Connected your Gmail account to HoneyBook, and
From the top navigation bar, select Projects to open your project pipeline
Select the New suggestions tile
You’ll be brought to a full list of suggestions to import, with key details like email and last activity listed
Hover over the suggestion you’d like to add and select Review
From the AI summary that appears, select Add to pipeline
Adjust the name and stage of the project that will be created for the suggestion
By default, the project will be added to the Inquiry stage
Click Add to confirm
The suggestion will be added to your HoneyBook Contacts list, and a project will be created to house your previous communication with the lead. A communication summary generated by the AI assistant will also be added to the project notes (not visible to the lead).
From here, consider using the AI writing assistant to quickly follow up with the lead and further nurture the relationship right from HoneyBook.
