Updated over 4 months ago

Session

A meeting, event, or any other session that you need to hold. These will appear on your HoneyBook calendar, and are managed through your Scheduler.

Also known as: event, meeting

Scheduler

This is the tool you'll use to manage session types as well as the tool your clients will use to book a session with you. Any booked sessions will appear on your HoneyBook calendar.

Booked project

A project that contains a booked file (a signed contract or an invoice with a payment made on it). These will appear on your HoneyBook calendar.

Tentative project

A project that does not include a booked file (a signed contract or an invoice with a payment made on it). These will appear on your HoneyBook calendar.

Time tracker

A tool you can use to track how long you've worked on a project. This is the tool you'll use if you want to track billable hours.

Also known as: timetracker, stopwatch

Project workspace

Where you manage your projects. This space includes the activity feed (where you'll send or receive messages as well as where smart files can be accessed or shared), the project details, a list of the project's participants, and a space to save your notes.

Activity feed

One of the spaces you'll get notifications for project activity (for example, your client signing a contract) as well as where you can send an email to your clients through HoneyBook.

Participants

Everyone that's included in the project. This will include you, the clients, any collaborators, and your team members.

Collaborators

Anyone that is helping the project along but isn't part of your company team. Vendors are a kind of collaborator you might add to a project.
