Meeting prep notes help you go into meetings with confidence. One hour before a HoneyBook meeting, you'll receive AI-generated notes that includes a summary of key project details, past communication, open questions, action items, and more. Review prep notes before your meetings so you can get a refresher on where projects currently stand and what needs to be discussed. This article covers how to access and use meeting prep notes.

Meeting prep notes are purely for you and your internal team—they don't have any client-facing implications. If you'd like HoneyBook AI to join your client meetings to take notes, make sure to toggle the meeting notetaker on.
Adjust meeting prep settings
By default, meeting prep notes are turned on for your account. If you need to adjust this setting:
From the navigation menu, select your company logo > Company settings
Select HoneyBook AI
Under "Meeting and project prep," turn Meeting prep notes on or off
Access meeting prep notes
One hour before each meeting, you'll receive a notification that a meeting prep note is ready. There are several ways to access these notes.
Notifications center
As soon as a meeting prep note is ready, you’ll receive a notification, which you can select
Notifications (bell icon) > the notification to be brought straight to the note.
📣 Note
Clients aren't notified of, nor can they view, meeting prep notes.
Project
Search for, then open the project through which the meeting has been scheduled
Under "Activity," select View meeting prep note
HoneyBook Calendar
From the navigation bar, select Calendar
Select the meeting in question > Meeting prep note
Mobile push notification
As soon as a meeting prep note is ready, you’ll receive a mobile push notification, which you can select to be brought straight to the note in the HoneyBook mobile app.

To receive a prep note for a meeting, the meeting must meet the following criteria:
Scheduled through HoneyBook
Associated with a project that has at least one email sent in it
