How to embed a lead form on a Wix website

Get your lead forms onto your Wix website by embedding it.

Updated over a week ago

Effortlessly embed lead forms into your Wix website. This enhancement streamlines the process of capturing leads from your site, saving you valuable time and enhancing your potential for success.

You’ll work in both your HoneyBook and Wix accounts for this. You’ll start in HoneyBook.

Retrieve the embed code in HoneyBook

You’ll first retrieve the embed code for your lead form. If you haven’t yet created a lead form, do that first.

  1. From the top nav menu, select Tools > select Lead Forms

  2. Find and select the lead form you want to embed on your website

    1. You can only embed published lead forms

  3. Once you’re in the builder, select Share

  4. Select the Wix tab > select Copy code

Store this code somewhere safe. You’ll need it when you’re working in your Wix account.

Embed the lead form into Wix

Now that you have the embed code, you can place your lead form on your Wix website.

  1. Log into your Wix account > access the website this lead form should get added to

  2. Select which page you’ll add the lead form to > add an HTML embed

  3. Select the embed you just added > select the Code option

  4. Paste the code snippet you retrieved from your HoneyBook account > select Update

  5. Edit the embed as needed

    1. You’ll need to click into the embed to adjust it’s width

  6. Preview your website to review your changes

    1. You can test the form’s functionality by submitting a test entry

  7. Save your changes > publish your website

Once you publish your changes, your lead form will now appear in your website. From here, the lead form will begin capturing leads for you.
