How to embed a lead form on a Squarespace website

Get your lead forms onto your Squarespace website by embedding it.

Effortlessly embed lead forms into your Squarespace website. This enhancement streamlines the process of capturing leads from your site, saving you valuable time and enhancing your potential for success.

You’ll work in both your HoneyBook and Squarespace accounts for this. You must have a Squarespace Business plan to embed your lead form on your website. You’ll start in HoneyBook.


Retrieve the embed code in HoneyBook

You’ll first retrieve the embed code for your lead form. If you haven’t yet created a lead form, do that first.

  1. From the top nav menu, select Tools > select Lead Forms

  2. Find and select the lead form you want to embed on your website

    1. You can only embed published lead forms

  3. Once you’re in the builder, select Share

  4. Select the Squarespace tab > select Copy code

Store this code somewhere safe. You’ll need it when you’re working in your Squarespace account.


Embed the lead form into Squarespace

Now that you have the embed code, you can place your lead form on your Squarespace website. You’ll need a Squarespace Business plan to embed your lead form on your website.

  1. Log into your Squarespace account > access the website this lead form should get added to

  2. Select which page you’ll add the lead form to > add an embed block

  3. Select the block you just added > select the pencil icon > select Code Snippet

  4. Select Embed data > paste the code snippet you retrieved from your HoneyBook account

    1. This will automatically save

  5. Edit your block as needed

  6. Preview your website to review your changes

    1. You can test the form’s functionality by submitting a test entry

  7. Save your changes > publish your website

Once you publish your changes, your lead form will appear in your website. From here, the lead form will begin capturing leads for you.
