What to do if you can't bulk update projects

Troubleshooting if you receive an error message bulk updating projects

Updated yesterday

If you receive an error message that the projects you selected cannot be bulk updated, or are encountering another issue bulk updating, there are a couple of reasons the action might be blocked. Check the reasons below for steps to resolve.

You're not in the "my projects" view

If you are in the "View all" pipeline view, or viewing a team member's pipeline, you will not be able to use bulk update actions. To fix:

  1. Navigate to the Pipeline tab

  2. Select the view drop-down

  3. Select "[your name] (number of active projects) - me"

  4. Follow the steps to bulk update again

You're not the owner of some or all of the selected projects

You can only bulk update projects that you own. If another member of your team owns one or more of the selected projects, reach out to have them perform the bulk action.

Trying to delete: The projects contain payments

Projects with completed payments cannot be deleted. Consider bulk archiving those projects instead.
