Zapier updates
HoneyBook has had Zapier triggers for a while, but those only worked in one direction. There were triggers that could set off a Zap in one of your other tools, but you did not have the ability to make something happen in HoneyBook that was triggered from another app. Now, we have both! That means you can have a Zap initiate outside of HoneyBook to trigger an action inside HoneyBook, you can trigger something to happen outside of HoneyBook, or create a chain reaction using both triggers and actions.

Action: Create a client in HoneyBook
Do you need both a marketing automation system, but you use HoneyBook as your CRM and to manage bookings? With the new Zapier action of creating a client in HoneyBook, you can automatically create records for new leads in all of your systems at once. For example, if someone signs up to receive your newsletter via a HubSpot form, you can add them to both places at once. This offers flexibility so you can automatically create clients without creating associated projects until you’re ready to book.
Action: Create a project in HoneyBook
You can also now create a project in HoneyBook automatically using Zapier. Maybe you have HoneyBook lead forms setup on your website, but your socials use a different tool to collect inquiries. Funnel those inquiries directly into HB and create projects to begin working right away, instead of sorting through multiple lists and inboxes.
Trigger: Client created
On the flip side of creating a client via Zap, you can now also trigger something else to happen when a client is created in HoneyBook. That means you can create an entire chain of Zaps to fit your needs perfectly. Maybe you have a contact form or lead form setup, but you want the clients you have in HoneyBook to also live in your marketing automation system. You can ask HoneyBook to add a contact record in HubSpot as soon as a client is created via your lead form so your records stay clean in every tool.

We’ve also updated the settings to reflect our new branding, and to make navigation easier.
