Currently, HoneyBook itself isn't HIPAA-compliant. To be HIPAA-compliant, there are many regulations and certifications that are required. Typically, the only companies who are HIPAA-compliant service the medical and healthcare industries. Since HoneyBook’s product isn't targeted to those industries, this isn't something that's prioritized. HoneyBook will consider obtaining this certification if targeting changes.
If you're using a third-party integration, for example, Zoom or Google Meet, to communicate, they might be HIPAA-compliant. Reach out to the tool's provider to find out.
If the tool is HIPAA-compliant, that compliance wouldn't extend to email integrations, as those would be pulled into the activity feed within HoneyBook.
