How to add or edit a phone number for 2-step verification

When making changes to your bank account or personal account information, or when utilizing our 2-step verification login process, you’ll need a valid security phone number on file. If you ever need to edit or add your security phone number, the process is simple and secure!

Editing your security phone number

Need to adjust the security number on file? Just follow these steps:

1. First, click your profile photo in the top right corner of your screen.

2. Select My Account.

3. Scroll down to find the Security Phone Number section and click Edit.

4. You'll be presented with the following:

Depending on your selection, our system will text or call you with a 6-digit verification code.

5. Enter the code provided into HoneyBook and click Submit.

6. Now, you'll be able to enter a new phone number. Be sure to click Save when you’re done!

  • HoneyBook Tip: Make sure that the number you enter is set up to receive calls and/or text messages.


Adding a security phone number to your account

In most cases, you’ll add a security number when beginning your HoneyBook account–which means you won't need to go through the steps below. In case you’re missing a security phone number, though, here’s how to add one:

1. First, click your profile photo in the top right corner of your screen.

2. Select My Account.

3. Scroll down to find the Security Phone Number section and click Add.

4. Click Get an email with verification code to verify your account.

5. Our system will email you with a 6-digit verification code. Enter the code into HoneyBook, then click Submit.

  • HoneyBook Tip: This message is sent to the email address that you use to log into HoneyBook.

6. Now, you'll be able to enter a phone number. Be sure to click Save when you’re done!

  • HoneyBook Tip: Make sure that the number you enter is set up to receive calls and/or text messages.
