Your security phone number helps keep your account secure. If you ever need to edit or add your security phone number, just follow the steps below.
💡 You'll need a valid security phone number on file when:
Making changes to your bank account or personal account information
Utilizing our 2-step verification login process
Editing your security phone number on file
1. First, click your profile photo in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Select My Account.
3. Scroll down to find the Security Phone Number section and click Edit.
4. You'll be presented with the following:
Depending on your selection, our system will text or call you with a 6-digit verification code.
📣 Note
If you no longer have access to your security phone number and can't receive the verification code, please contact our Support team.
5. Enter the code provided into HoneyBook and click Submit.
6. Now, you'll be able to enter a new phone number. Be sure to click Save when you’re done!
📚 Tip
Make sure that the number you enter is:
Set up to receive calls and/or text messages
U.S.- or Canada-based
Adding a security phone number to your account
In most cases, you’ll add a security number when beginning your HoneyBook account–which means you won't need to go through the steps below. In case you’re missing a security phone number, though, here’s how to add one:
1. First, click your profile photo in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Select My Account.
3. Scroll down to find the Security Phone Number section and click Add.
4. Click Get an email with verification code to verify your account.
5. Our system will email you with a 6-digit verification code. Enter the code into HoneyBook, then click Submit.
📚 Tip
This 6-digit verification code is sent to the email address that you use to log into HoneyBook.
6. Now, you'll be able to enter a phone number. Be sure to click Save when you’re done!
