Customize your lead sources

Adjust your lead source options to best describe where they're coming from, and learn where they appear in your projects

Updated over a week ago

Customize your lead sources to better understand where your business is coming from and identify the most effective channels to connect with new clients. HoneyBook supplies a range of commonly used lead sources to begin with, but you can adjust this list to fit your needs.

Once you've organized your leads, you can include them as options in your contact form, allowing your customers to select how they heard about you. You can also manually update the lead source for each project.

Edit your lead source list

  1. From the navigation menu, select Settings > Company settings

  2. Select the Preferences tab

  3. In the Company organization & data section, select the pencil icon by Lead sources

  4. From here, you can:

    1. Add a new lead source by selecting + Add Source

    2. Edit your lead source list by hovering over a lead source, then selecting the pencil icon and renaming the lead source

    3. Delete a lead source by hovering over it, then selecting the trash icon

  5. Select Save Changes

Once you've started categorizing, you can check out your Leads Report in HoneyBook to better understand where your clients are coming from.
