Your HoneyBook referral link is unique to you and tracks when someone clicks your link, starts a trial, and subscribes to a membership. This tracking is how HoneyBook knows which referrals belong to you and when you’re eligible to earn referral payouts.
When someone uses your referral link, they receive a discount at the start of their membership:
Annual plans: 30% off the first year
Monthly plans: 30% off the first 2 months
This discount applies only during the initial period and doesn’t extend to renewals. Because referral links can be overridden by other promo codes, it’s important to confirm your link is used at signup to ensure proper attribution and payout.
You can share your referral link with as many people as you’d like—there’s no cap on the number of referrals you can make or the total amount you can earn. How much you earn per referral depends on whether you’re a standard HoneyBook member or HoneyBook Educator, as outlined in the sections below.

Referral bonuses are paid in addition to the standard referral payout. When you reach a bonus milestone, both the standard payout and the bonus are issued together, after 100 business days of your referral becoming a subscribing member.
