When I add a contact, will it send them a notification?

How you add a contact will determine whether they receive a notification.

  • Adding a contact to a project with no activity (no emails or files sent): The contact won't receive a notification

  • Adding a contact to a project with activity (an email or file was sent): The contact will receive a notification

  • Adding a contact to Contacts from the navigation menu: The contact won't receive a notification


What's the difference between a client note and a private note?

  • A client note is where you can track info about a client, like their preferred outreach style. Client notes are accessible to other team members on your HoneyBook account.

  • Private notes are also specific to each contact, but no one else can read your private notes


How can I add my contacts from another platform?

If you're migrating from another platform, you can quickly upload your contacts list into HoneyBook if you have them in a CSV or as Google Contacts.
