When sending a file that includes a contract, invoice, or proposal, you can enable client verification for added security. This feature ensures that only the intended recipient can complete sensitive actions such as:
Signing a contract
Making a payment
Your clients’ experience with verification code access
With client verification turned on, your client can view your contract, invoice, or proposal without a verification code. However, to take any sensitive action—like signing or paying—they’ll need to:
Enter their email address
Receive a numeric verification code via email
Enter the code to proceed
If client verification is turned off, you won’t be able to confirm your client’s identity, which could increase the risk of unauthorized access.
📌 Note:
To receive a verification code, make sure your clients are entering the same email address they use to participate in your project.
If your client can’t find the code in their inbox, they should check their spam folder. They have the ability to re-send the code if they can’t find it.
