Why QuickBooks line items do not have specific HoneyBook services listed

Understanding why "Services" is listed in the Product/Service field of line items in QuickBooks invoices

Updated over a week ago

๐Ÿ“š Tip

You must have an Essentials or Premium HoneyBook plan to integrate with QuickBooks. You must also have a Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus QuickBooks plan to integrate with HoneyBook.

Since there currently isnโ€™t categorization/transaction mapping within HoneyBook for all individual services you may charge for, these items will all default to the descriptor Services in the Product/Service field of your QuickBooks Online invoices as well as your listed products and services.ย

You do have the option to edit these Product/Service descriptions within QuickBooks if you'd like to track specific services in your QuickBooks reports. This isn't a mandatory step โ€” just an option that's available to you for more granularity in your QuickBooks reporting.
