If you’ve ever booked a project months ago and can't remember the details spread across files, notes, and emails, let HoneyBook AI prepare you with a recap sent 5 days before the project date. These AI-generated recaps include action items, discussed services, payment details, open questions, tasks, and more, so you can go into projects ready to put your best foot forward.
Adjust project recap settings
By default, project recaps are turned on for your account. If you need to disable or re-enable this setting, here's how:
From your navigation menu, select your company logo > Company settings
Select HoneyBook AI
Under "Meeting and project prep," turn Project recaps on or off
Access project recaps
Five days before the project dates for your booked projects, you'll receive a notification that a project recap is ready. Project recaps are delivered by email and accessible through your project notes. There are a few different ways to access project recaps.
When a project recap is ready, the note will be delivered directly to the project owner's email inbox.
Notification center
As soon as a project recap is ready, the project owner will receive a notification under
Notifications (bell icon), which can select to be brought straight to the note.
Project
Search for, then open the associated project
Under "Activity," select View project recap
Mobile push notification
Once a project recap is ready, you’ll receive a mobile push notification. Select the notification to be brought straight to the note in your HoneyBook mobile app.
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
What projects will I receive project recaps for, and when?
Project recaps are sent 5 days before a project date, for projects that meet all the following criteria:
Active project (not archived or deleted)
Booked project that contains at least one payment made or a signature
Contains content (at least one email, note, file, contact form submission, or lead form submission)
Project date added under the project details
If the project start and end dates are added, the project recap will be sent 5 days prior to the project end date, not the project start date.
What's the client experience like with project recaps?
Clients won't receive notifications about project recaps and can't see them. However, if you want to share the note with a client, you can do so by turning on the option in the top-right corner of the note.
