The Finance Overview page is your central hub for tracking project payments, monitoring spending, and viewing external bank balances. By consolidating your data, you gain a clearer picture of your business’s financial health in one place.
📣 Note
This page is only intended to inform you of your finances and isn't financial advice. Consider consulting with your financial advisor before making any decisions with your business’ finances.
Go to Finance Overview page
To access your dashboard, select Finance > Overview from the main navigation menu.
The Payments Graph
This section visualizes all payments processed through HoneyBook, categorized into three statuses:
Paid: Completed transactions.
Overdue: Payments past their due date (includes both booked and unbooked files).
Upcoming: Future payments scheduled in your active files.
📚 Tip
All non-upcoming payments, regardless of whether they came from booked files (files with a signed contract or invoice with at least one completed payment) will appear here. If a file has an overdue payment but isn’t from a booked file, that payment can also appear here.
Interactive Features:
Monthly Breakdown: Hover over any bar in the graph to see specific totals for that month.
Time Filters: Adjust the view to specific time frames (e.g., Year to Date, Last 12 Months).
Detailed View: Select View payments to go to the "Payments" page. Each payment category has the following statuses for payments:
Category | Statuses |
Paid |
|
Overdue |
|
Upcoming |

📣 Note
When a payment is received, it may take up to one hour for the amount to reflect in the graphs on Finance Overview page. If you don't see the update immediately, check back shortly.
