The magic of lead forms doesn’t stop once they’re submitted–you can also connect lead forms to automations to automate next steps in the project. This can be done in two places: from the Automations dashboard or from a form's settings.
Connect lead forms from the Automations dashboard
You can connect one automation to multiple lead forms (perfect if you have a catch-all automation that fits all lead form scenarios), but each lead form can have only one automation connected to it.
From the top navigation menu, select Automations
Find the automation that should get a lead form connected to it
In the Activate via Lead Form column, select the lead form that should connect to this automation
Now, any time a lead submits that lead form, the selected automation will be automatically activated in the corresponding project, and the next steps will start firing at the appropriate triggers.
Connect automations from a lead form's settings
Each lead form can have only one automation connected to it. However, you can connect one automation to multiple lead forms (perfect if you have a catch-all automation that fits all lead form scenarios).
When editing a lead form's settings, toggle on Trigger an automation upon form submission
From the drop-down menu, select which automation should trigger when this form is submitted
Either continue editing the lead form or publish the form if it's good to go
Now, any time a lead submits the lead form, the selected automation will be automatically activated in the corresponding project, and the next steps will start firing at the appropriate triggers.
