Your notifications center is located under
Notifications center (bell icon) in the top-right corner of your HoneyBook account. It's a centralized hub for viewing recent activity — new inquiries, payments, and more — and managing your notification preferences, all from one place.
When a new notification comes in, the number badge on the bell icon updates to show how many unread notifications you have. From the notifications center, you can:
Mark all notifications as read at once
Mark an individual notification as read or unread
Toggle between viewing unread and all notifications
Select a notification to go directly to the related file, project, or activity
Scroll to the bottom and select Show more to view additional notifications
Select
Notification settings (filter icon) to customize the notification types you receive
Manage your notification preferences
Notification settings are personal — each user manages their own preferences independently. To access your notification settings:
In the top-right corner of any page, select
Notifications center (bell icon) >
Notification settings (filter icon)Alternatively from the navigation menu, select your company logo > My account > Notifications
The page is organized as a grid: notification topics down the side, delivery channels across the top. Under “Notify Me About,” you'll see 3 notification columns:
In-app — Notifications that appear your
Notifications center (bell icon) and notification feedMobile push — Notifications sent to the HoneyBook mobile app
Email — Sent to your inbox
Turning off a topic's toggle for a channel mutes all notifications within that topic for that channel at once
Select a topic (for example, Payments) to expand it and toggle its individual notification types — like Payment received or Bank transfer cleared — per channel independently
Select Advanced settings within an expanded topic for even more granular notification types
Some topics show "N/A" for a channel, meaning that notification is only available through the other channels
All changes save automatically
📣 Note
You can't adjust the frequency of notifications or which specific projects trigger them — these are universal settings that apply account-wide.
Always-on alerts
A small set of critical notifications can never be turned off:
Disputes
Tax information issues
Broken integrations (such as Gmail or Google Calendar disconnecting)
Security events
Everything else is yours to adjust as you see fit for your account.

Mobile push notifications
If push notifications aren't enabled on your phone, or you haven't installed the HoneyBook mobile app, the “Mobile push” column shows a status indicator ("Push is off" or "Not installed") with steps to resolve it. You can still configure your mobile push preferences ahead of time — they'll take effect automatically once push is enabled on your device.
