Sync your personal calendar with HoneyBook

Connect your Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar to HoneyBook to keep track of bookings, meetings, and projects—all in one place

Updated this week

Connecting your external calendar to HoneyBook helps you manage all your events in one place.

Calendars you can sync with HoneyBook

  • Google calendar

  • Outlook calendar

  • iCloud calendar

💡 You can sync only one external calendar with HoneyBook at a time. If you use multiple calendars, we recommend syncing them to a primary external calendar first—this way, all your events will be reflected in HoneyBook once that calendar is connected.

📚 Tip

After syncing, you can manage which calendars sync by clicking the gear icon next to your email address in your HoneyBook calendar.

Using a shared calendar (Google calendar only)

If your team uses a shared calendar, and your teammate has already connected it to HoneyBook, you can share their calendar to avoid duplicate events.

How it works

When two or more team members connect to HoneyBook using the same Google email address, HoneyBook detects this and offers the option to share a single Google calendar.

The shared calendar is created per company. If a team member switches to a different company or brand on the same HoneyBook account, they can create a new calendar for that brand and share it with team members for that company or brand.

To use a shared calendar:

  1. Select your company logo

  2. Select Settings > Company settings

  3. Select Integrations

  4. Find your calendar integration

  5. Select the gear icon

  6. Toggle on Use shared calendar

📣 Note

The Used shared calendar toggle is only available when setting up a new Google calendar integration. To enable it for an already existing calendar, disconnect and reconnect your Google calendar.

What happens when you disconnect a shared calendar?

When a team member who is sharing a calendar disconnects their Google calendar integration:

  • Only events not shared with other team members are removed from the shared calendar

  • Events that belong to workspaces shared with other team members remain on the calendar

  • The calendar is not deleted as long as at least one other team member is still using it

  • If the member that disconnects was one of only two members sharing the calendar, the shared setting is automatically turned off
